Snickers Ball Competition Terms and Conditions

By participating in this competition (“the Competition”), you confirm that you accept and agree to these terms and conditions, as well as the general Z Manu World Champs terms and conditions. 
1. Promoter
The promoter of the Competition is Mars New Zealand Limited (117682) of Building 14/666 Great South Road, Ellerslie 1051, Auckland, NZ (“the Promoter”).
2. Eligibility
2.1. The Competition is open to New Zealand residents aged 16 years or older (“Eligible Entrants”). Proof of age may be requested at any stage of the Competition.
2.2. Employees of the Promoter, its agents, affiliates, contractors, consultants, their families (including de facto spouses), or any other persons assisting with the Competition are not eligible to enter.
3. Competition Structure
The Competition is comprised of two separate competitions: Regional Events and the Auckland Finals Event.
4. Regional Events
4.1. Eligible Entrants may participate in the Snickers Ball competition where participants will perform a Manu with a Size 4 Rugby ball with the aim of popping the ball as high as possible at designated Regional Events.
4.2. At each Regional Event, a judging panel will determine the top three (3) competitors of the day.
4.3. The top three competitors at each Regional Event will each receive one (1) exclusive Snickers prize pack ($100NZD Value), which includes one (1) Snickers Towel, one (1) Snickers Hat, and several Snickers bars.

5. Auckland Final Event Entry & Participation
5.1. To enter for a chance to become a Auckland Event finalist, Eligible Entrants must submit a video registration.
5 . 2. Videos need to be posted on participants public profile Instagram account. The video submission will need to tag @manuworldchamps and use #SnickersBall2026.
5.3. Video submissions must show the participant performing a Manu with a Size 4 Rugby Ball with the aim of performing the largest ball pop in a safe environment. Submissions depicting unsafe acts (including but not limited to cliff jumps or jumping into shallow water) will be disqualified.
5.4. From the valid video submissions, a total of eight (8) competitors will be selected as Finalists and invited to attend the Auckland Final event in Auckland.
5.5. Finalists will be notified via the Instagram post their registration was posted on.
5.6. The Auckland Finals Event will consist of a knockout competition format, where one (1) Snickers Ball Competition Champion will be crowned.
6. Auckland Final Prizes & Conditions
6.1. All eight (8) Finalists who participate in the Auckland Final event will receive one (1) exclusive Snickers prize pack ($100NZD Value), which includes one (1) Snickers Towel, one (1) Snickers Hat, and several Snickers bars.
6.2. Finalists are solely responsible for all costs associated with their attendance at the final in Auckland. This includes, but is not limited to, all transport, accommodation, and personal expenses. The Promoter will not provide any funding or reimbursement for these costs.
6.3. Failure to attend the Auckland Final event on the 14th of March 2026 will result in forfeiture of the Finalist position and any associated prizes.
7. General Conditions
7.1. By submitting a video, entrants grant the Promoter a perpetual, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use their name, likeness, and video submission for promotional purposes across all media without further compensation.
7.2. The Promoter is not responsible for any late, lost, or misdirected entries, or for any technical malfunctions that may result in a failure to enter the Competition.
7.3. All decisions made by the judging panel and the Promoter are final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
7.4. Prizes are not transferable, exchangeable, or redeemable for cash.
7.5. The Promoter reserves the right to amend, suspend, or cancel the Competition or these terms at any time.

The Promoter collects personal information (“PI”) in order to conduct the Promotion and for the purposes of your entry into the Promotion and may, for this purpose, disclose such PI to third parties, including but not limited to agents, contractors, service providers, prize suppliers and, as required, to regulatory authorities. Entry is conditional on providing this PI. The Promoter will also use and handle PI as set out in its Privacy Policy, which can be viewed at www.mars.com/privacy. The Privacy Policy also contains information about how entrants may opt out, access, update or correct their PI, how entrants may complain about a breach of Privacy law and how those complaints will be dealt with. The Promoter may disclose PI to entities outside of New Zealand, see the Promoter’s Privacy Policy for details. For the removal of doubt, the Promoter will only use PI as set out above and in accordance with its Privacy Policy, the Promoter will not sell PI to 3rd parties.

You are required to take full responsibility for the content of your entry and for ensuring that your entry complies with these Terms and Conditions and any other instructions provided by the Promoter. For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions, “entry content” includes any content (including text, photos, videos and email messages) that you submit, upload, transmit, publish, communicate or use in connection with your entry into the Promotion.

Your entry must be your own original work. The Promoter reserves the right to verify, or to require you to verify, that your entry is your own original work. If an entry cannot be verified to the Promoter’s satisfaction, the entry will be deemed invalid.

Your entry must not:
a.  include any content which may diminish the good name and reputation of the Promoter or its products and brands;
b. feature any image or voice of any other person without that person’s express
consent. You confirm that if such content is included in your entry, you have
obtained the express consent of the relevant person/s;
c. include any content that is in violation of any law or regulation;
d. be fraudulent, deceptive or misleading in any way;
e. include any content that infringes the rights of any person;
f. be obscene, offensive, defamatory, discriminatory, indecent or otherwise
objectionable or inappropriate (which includes, without limitation, any content involving nudity, malice, excessive violence or swearing);
g. include any literary, dramatic, musical or artistic work, any audio-visual or sound recording, or any other item in which copyright subsists, unless you are entitled to use such content. If you have any doubts about whether to include any content (for example, recorded music) you must not include it. By including such content in your entry, you warrant to the Promoter that you have the permission of the relevant copyright owner to do so and that this permission allows the Promoter to use the entry to publicise the promotion and for any other purpose as set out in these Terms and Conditions; and
h. feature any third party products, third party trade marks, names, logos or branding.

Entry and continued participation in the promotion is dependent on the entrant following and acting in accordance with the Instagram Terms of Use, (http://instagram.com/legal/terms/). This promotion adheres to the terms and conditions set out in the Instagram promotion guidelines which can be found at: http://help.instagram.com/179379842258600. Any questions or comments regarding the promotion must be directed to the Promoter, not to Instagram. The entrant releases Instagram and its associated companies from all liabilities arising in respect of the promotion. Entrants acknowledge that the promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Instagram.

Prizes are not transferable, exchangeable for any other item or size and cannot be redeemed for cash or any other form of compensation (unless cash is specified). The value of each prize is accurate as at the time of preparation of this material, is the RRP value and is inclusive of GST. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in the value of a prize after that time. If a prize (including the available and/or desired size) is unavailable for any reason, the Promoter may substitute it for another item of equal or higher value, subject to the approval of the any relevant gaming authorities as required.

The Promoter may at its absolute discretion prohibit an entrant’s participation in this Promotion, cancel or suspend a prize or other cease to provide any prize to a winner if the entrant or winner (or any companion) is (in the Promoter’s opinion) under the influence of alcohol or drugs, behaves aggressively or disruptively, or behaves in a manner which may diminish the good name and reputation of the Promoter or its products and brands, or is contrary to law or is otherwise inappropriate.

Entrants acknowledge that there may be inherent risks in some aspects of the Promotion or the prize and that participation in the promotion or accepting the prize may involve participating in dangerous activities. By entering this promotion and/or accepting the prize, entrants accept that risk for themselves and for their companion(s) (if applicable).

The Promoter, its associated agencies and companies and the agencies and companies associated with this Promotion will not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense, damage, personal injury or death which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with this Promotion or accepting or using a prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law).
